I thank God every day, that I am blessed with a computer and a printer, which has made teacher a whole lot easier this time around, as well as less expensive. There are a lot of websites that can provide printable worksheets , for a yearly membership cost , that are very good. They can provide you with a lot of your basic need, but not all. And of course there are some sights that are worthless and are filled with so many errors that I have had to weed through, on order to use them. There are also website that are well done and are free, but they simple will not provide a homeschool teacher with enough school work to last that full school year. As a result, educating on a small budget can be a challenge. But the biggest challenge that I have had to face was teaching social studies, especially in the face of the fact that are very few worksheets available. Although there are workbooks that you can buy on line, they are costly and will not give you a full year of education . They are also limited to only one child use, and then most be thrown out. So I have incorporated my love for history, and created my own American History Worksheets. With the help of my grandchild, who have been of great help and inspiration. I have created worksheets on The fallowing Historical worksheets that are available on CD... My Historical CD's includes: reading material , questions, word search....and a list of fun learning I have recently decided to share these worksheets with other homeschool teachers.
